It seems like just yesterday that we were driving to our first karaoke rental. It was a cold and sunny day in Calgary and we were anxious to have our first customers test our machine.

From humble beginnings…

At that time our system was clunky and a little ugly and the app was nowhere as sleek as it is now, but we already knew it was thousands of times better than the alternative at the time: messing with binders and CDs.

Having tested it ourselves with friends, we were 98% sure they’d have a blast feeling like superstars singing in their own home.

Luckily, we were correct. They had too much fun.

We’ve come a long way…

Our vision has always been to provide a karaoke system that is versatile and adaptable to our clients’ party needs, incredibly easy to use and so much fun. For some, karaoke conjures up images of dark bars with sticky floors and sweaty drunken strangers.

For others, karaoke is done in small booths, with songs in languages you do not speak and where you’re asked to purchase overpriced drinks every 30 minutes.

3. You have options for how to set it up

It’s your home, so if you want to create a stage for your guests to belt out tunes from you can do that. If you rather hide in the basement, sit on the couch and sing from there, you can do that. We offer discolights, extra monitors or even projectors so you can totally customize your experience.

Either way, you’re probably going to spend the first 10-20 minutes just playing with the microphone, marveling at how cool you sound. Our high quality microphones and speakers ensure that you will feel like a superstar every time.

You can also use the system for speeches or for playing music for the parts of the night where you’re not singing.

4. It’s incredibly easy

Renting a karaoke system for a home party is one of the easiest things you can do. We bring the system to your home. We install it. We pick it up the next day. There’s no set up for you to do.

When it’s time to sing, you pick your songs from a small electronic tablet, they queue and all you need to do is sing.

With our systems, you choose your songs on a tablet, they queue and they play. Your job is to simply sing into the (high quality) microphone and feel like a superstar. It’s as simple as that. You’re not juggling CDs and binders. You’re not inviting a Karaoke Jockey into your home. You’re just choosing what you want to sing and you sing.

We take care of delivering the system to you, installing it for you and then we come to pick it up the next day (when you’ve lost your voice from singing and laughing so much). Delivering our karaoke machines to you unfortunately takes its toll on the environment in the form of carbon emissions from our karaoke machine delivery drivers. The environment is very important to us here at Karaoke Rental Calgary so we have decided to offset our carbon emissions.

We estimate that for 2019 we will emit approximately 18 tonnes of carbon delivering karaoke machines in the Greater Calgary area and in our other locations across Canada. To offset these carbon emissions we have purchased 18 tonnes of CO2 credits through the Gold Standard.
